MusicMatrix.com will hold periodic music video editing competitions where premium members will be able to “remix” a particular music video in order to put a different spin on it. MusicMatrix partners with record labels to determine each promotion’s launch date and duration. Once an artist’s promotion has been scheduled, the label will provide MusicMatrix with the library of files to be used. The library will consist of the audio file of the featured song as well as all picture and video files which premium members can utilize in making their remix. Premium members will have access to the library within their MusicMatrix profile for competition purposes only, and will not be able to download any of the files directly to their computer.
