How Do You Create A Basic Study Guide?
• Make sure you have everything you need to make a study guide. • Choose a subject, such as History, English, Science or Math. • Add a title to the top of a piece of paper or computer page. • Number each new idea. • Add bullets (*) for information that supports each idea. • Use brief, concise phrases that are easy to remember. • Use examples. • Group similar ideas together. • Distinguish and separate information. • Use circles, stars or colored highlighters. • If using a computer, try different colored font. • Copy or print out your study guide to review with others. Make study cards by putting answers on one side and questions on the other.
