What are Snowboard Gloves?
Before hitting the slopes, any snowboarder – from beginners to professionals – must slip on a pair of snowboard gloves. In fact, they are one of the few essential pieces of gear that someone needs to participate in the sport of snowboarding. Without them, it can be a miserable day on the slopes. Snowboard gloves are longer than most ordinary gloves. In fact, they can reach as far as mid-forearm, in many cases. The reason behind this is that people who snowboard often spend time dragging their hands through the snow as they go down the slope. If the snowboard gloves were shorter, they would quickly fill with cold, wet snow – a chilling experience. The material that snowboard gloves are made of varies according to the brand and the style. For example, some are made from water-resistant leather and have a warm fleece liner.
