If you’re a veteran of any branch of the Armed Forces and plan to attend college, you may be able to get a commission through Air Force ROTC. You must successfully complete a four-week summer Field Training session before completing the Professional Officer Course. As a member of the POC, you will receive $450 – $500 a month (tax-free) besides any GI bill or VEAP benefits you are already entitled to. You may also be eligible for an Air Force ROTC scholarship.
