What is Foamed Asphalt?
Foamed or Expanded asphalt is a road base recycling process that is more timely and substantially cheaper than conventional methods. It uses the existing asphalt, which is pulverized in place while incorporating hot liquid asphalt and water. This method is environmentally friendly because it is 100% recyclable. It is considerably faster since the old asphalt does not need to be hauled away and the hot mix process is done on site. In fact, roads can typically be resurfaced and reopened in less than 24 hours.
