Do cocker spaniels shed?
Yes. Frequent brushing will help reduce shedding. Cocker Spaniels also require trips to the Groomer every 6 to 8 weeks, year round. Letting the hair grow long in the winter doesn’t keep the dog any warmer, it only keeps them wetter longer which encourages matting –very uncomfortable for the dog, as well as unhealthy for the skin and a nightmare for your groomer.
