Is osteopathy recognised now?
Yes. Now that all osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council, the profession is statutorily regulated. Osteopathy is recognized by all the major private healthcare companies BUPA, AXA PPP, HSA, Norwich Union etc. If you are making a claim for your treatment please tell us when you book your appointment, as some companies require a GP referral.
