How to make a toddler brush his teeth?
You can’t make him brush his teeth. He is at the age where you can take him to the dentist.. Perhaps that might be a good idea. Toddlers often fight the ones that are closest to them, so maybe he might do it if someone else shows him. Lastly, I wouldn’t worry about his speech development. He is a boy, so typically it takes them a little longer than girls. Plus, he is a person of his own, he is going to learn and grow at his pace. I don’t think he is behind at all… I once read somewhere that a “normal” two year old should be able to speak 3-4 word sentences and associate 50 words to certain things. They should be able to follow 1 part directions like “Please put your blanket on your bed” or “Please take your shoes off”. If you are really concerned, call your pediatrician, but he sounds just fine.
