What is a KMS Host Key?
A KMS (Key Management Service) Host Key is a special type of product key provided by Microsoft for activating volume-licensed products in large organizations. The KMS host is set up on a server within an organization, allowing it to activate multiple devices on the same network without each one requiring a separate product key. KMS is especially useful for managing large-scale deployments of Windows and Office products efficiently, as it allows automatic activation within the organization’s network without needing individual activation for each device.
However, it’s important to note that unauthorized use of microsoft office activator outside official licenses is against Microsoft’s terms. For more information on legal Microsoft Office activation options and activators, it’s helpful to refer to official Microsoft resources or discuss with a licensed provider.
A KMS Host Key is used to activate the KMS host computer with a Microsoft activation server and can activate up to six (6) KMS hosts with 10 activations per host. Each KMS host can activate an unlimited number of computers. Note: Contact the Microsoft Activation Center if you require additional KMS activations for activating more than six (6) KMS hosts.
