What happens if the tiles get wet?
Remember you can easily pick-up tiles and then put them back down. Drying the tiles is a simple process. Simply remove the tile(s), dry it off with a cloth or paper towel, then stand it on its side and lean it against a wall for thorough drying. You can also use a blower to gently dry the face and back. When the tile is dry, you may place it back in its original position. Be sure to look for the arrows on the back of the tile to make sure your tile is laid back in the right direction. Carpet tiles are dimensionally stable and are specifically designed to withstand water. They are guaranteed not to curl, shrink or grow. Some people have taken up tiles and then out to their drive way where they’ve pressure washed them, let them dry and re-installed them.
