Is Reading Camp safe?
Reading Camp is very safe, with a two-to-one or one-to-one staff to camper ratio to ensure ample supervision. All staff members receive specialized training to keep the children safe, and a background check is run on every camp director. We have a very important “rule of three” at camp for all staff and campers: always travel in groups of three so that if one person gets hurt, one can run for help, and one can stay with the injured person. This rule ensures that everyone at camp is safe for the whole week.
