What is the Newman Floor?
The Newman Catholic Student Center’s Student Ministry Team seeks “to participate in the life of the community through worship, evangelization, education, justice and social peace.” This floor is a collective effort by University Plaza and the Newman Center to provide an environment for residents who wish to pursue these goals, and who wish to use our combined reserves in order to help, and become more involved with the community. This floor will have the opportunity to further the partnership with the Newman Center by planning and participating in a variety of activities proposed by like-minded individuals. Residency on this floor is nondenominational, and is open to students of all beliefs and faiths.
