How old are most WorldTeach volunteers?
While the majority of volunteers are recent college graduates, some volunteers are older. Mid-career and retired candidates are encouraged to apply, as their skills and experience are in great demand overseas. Please note that our medical insurance provider requires that participants be under the age of 75 as of the program start date. For our program in China, our partner requires volunteers to be under age 65, and in Chile where volunteers must be 50 years or younger.
