What are pre-testing stripes?
Pre-testing stripes are awarded the week prior to testing. During pre-testing week, students participate in a “mock” testing as part of their regular classes. Students who have earned all of their performance stripes and who correctly demonstrate all of their testing material are awarded a gold stripe. This gold stripe is the pre-testing stripe, and it means that a student has permission to test for the next rank.
