Yes, ultrasounds of any kind are safe. Ultrasound technology has been used for over 30 years. In fact, most young people walking around today have had an ultrasound performed on them in the womb! “High Risk” pregnancies sometimes receive an ultrasound every week, further reinstating the fact that they are safe for mother and unborn child. That is why we have certified ultrasound technicians on staff by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), to perform our ultrasounds.
