What are immersion heaters?
Immersion Heaters are heating element rods fixed (usually by welding) into a metal flange, commonly brass or stainless steel. They can be used to heat a variety of liquids. The liquid temperature can be controlled by a thermostat which is often fitted into a special closed end tube or pocket the immersion heater assembly. The most common application for immersion heaters is water heating (Drinking, Washing, Process, Foul, and Sea).
