During long period of time astrology remained devoted to its initial principles, though astrological techniques had been changing. And just around 250 years ago astrology as it was before has ceased. The Copernicus scientific revolution which happened in 17th century rejected any mystical or daemon knowledge which didnt fit into mechanical paradigm. This paradigm was intensively supported by the Jesuits Order which spread it all over the Europe trough educational process. This created a new generation with mechanical way of thinking.
