What is the trip like religiously?
Neither the Jewish National Fund nor our Alternative Spring Break program is affiliated with any specific denomination of Judaism. JNF has had Jewish young adults from very religious to secular on our trips; they do not force any religious views or programs upon our participants at any time. They ask that participants respect each other and not force their views on other participants during our time together. All provided meals are certified Kosher by the local Rabbinate. JNF tries to provide Shabbat options for everyone. There will be the option to go to Orthodox, Conservative or Reform services or participate in discussion/reflection for Shabbat. We will be respecting the day of rest and do not work on Shabbat. We do not work or provide group travel options on Shabbat.
