Did water flow on Mars?

0

Scientists at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) say there is evidence to show that water flowed on the surface of Mars in recent times. This adds to the theory that Mars might have the right conditions to support life. The appearance of gullies shown on photographs taken by a NASA probe, suggests water could have flowed on the surface during the past few years. However, some scientists think the gullies could have been cut by liquid carbon dioxide (CO2). Frosty white water ice clouds and swirling orange dust storms above a vivid rusty landscape reveal Mars as a dynamic planet in the photograph above, the sharpest view ever obtained by an Earth-based telescope.
