What is required for a building permit? You must complete the building permit application, along with two site plans, including line boundaries, two construction drawings, proof of Workers Compensation, stamped/sealed drawings, and a signed inspection schedule. Please note that an incomplete application may be denied and returned for corrections. Please allow up to 15 working days for approval or denial of residential permits and 30 days for approval or denial of a commercial permit. Twenty-four hour notice is required for all inspections. A Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plan may be required if the plan meets the criteria set forth by the East Brandywine Township Ordinance. What regulations do I need to follow to install a fence? A fence over 6 ft. in height requires a zoning permit. Any fence must be placed outside of the road right-of-way and out of the site triangle.
