What are Signatures then?
A signature is a small piece of text (which can include vB Code but not smilies) that will be added to any message you post if you click the Show Signature box before posting. This is a great way of promoting a web site, giving people your contact details or just adding a funny quote to your messages. There is a rule on the forums that your signature must take up less than six lines on the forums – large signatures tend to detract from what you or other people are trying to say on the thread. You can put as many links in as you like, but if you keep them all on one or two lines you can keep your signature compact.
