What are Vocational Assessments?
Vocational assessment is the process of matching your aptitude, interest, and personality to a career requiring similar characteristics. The assessment consists of the following tests, customized for each person: 1. The Vocational Interests Inventory measures your interest in a particular job. 2. Worker Attitudes measures a workers attitudes as they relate to specific work-related situations. 3. The Temperament Factor relates to adaptability requirements made on the worker by specific types of job-worker situations. 4. Academic Test measure your math, language, and reasoning ability. 5. The Vocational Aptitude Test measures eleven aptitudes such as Finger Dexterity, Manual Dexterity, Color Discrimination, Motor Coordination, Form Perception, Clerical Perception, Spatial Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Eye-Hand-Foot Coordination, and General Learning Ability. 6. 16PF 16 Personality factors measure attitudes and personal styles as it relates to specific employment.
