Should I paint my stucco house?

Most paints trap moisture in the Stucco which can lead to warping and/or bubbles, so you should research the latest in sealants, especially designed for Stucco.  Also, Stucco is very absorbent so you will end up using a LOT of regular house paint.

I personally live in a Stucco house from the 1930’s that has been painted over the years and there are bubbles in some walls – so be careful!
