What is vacuum testing used for ?
Vacuum testing is very useful for testing packaging such as sachets, pouches, blister and other flexible packs. The product is placed inside a chamber and restrained. The chamber is evacuated and the pack then exerts pressure on a series of strain gauges. If the pressure decays then the pack is leaking.
