How Do You Ozonate Olive Oil?
• Purchase an ozone generator. • There are many types of ozonators on the market. Some come with complete set-ups of generators, aerators and storing jars. Others you need to buy the pieces separately. • Generators should use either a pure oxygen source from an oxygen taken or pipe in natural oxygen. A generator with pure oxygen intake will produce stronger ozonated oil. • Fill the jar that came with the generator with the amount of olive oil recommended in the owner’s manual. • Use the tube provided to connect the aerator and generator. • Turn the pump and generator on. Some units will have one power switch that controls both units. • Listen for a bubbling sound. • Smell the air. You should be able to smell a distinctly clean or fresh smelling air different from your surrounding air. • Put the aerator into the olive oil jar, and watch for tiny bubbles to form. • Larger bubbles are a sign that the generator isn’t working properly or as effectively as it should.
