How does Layne Data work?
Layne Data is completely pre-configured. Installation is simply a matter of connecting a few wires and turning the system on. Most subscribers do their own installation – We provide clear instructions as well as phone support. We are also quite happy to have one of our people visit your site for an additional fee. Layne Data uses system sensors to monitor the water quality and performance of the water system. Data is collection time vary from site to site, but data is collected from on-site instrumentation approximately every 5 to 15 minutes. This data is then sent via the Internet to our central database. Again, the frequency at which data is sent to our database varies from site to site depending on client specifications, but can happen as often as every few minutes. The straight forward color based warning system tells customers at-a-glance if there is a problem.
