What is the competency box used for?
This is under development now. All NERC Standards are treated as Functional Areas of Knowledge. Requirements under each STANDARD are treated as families of knowledge. Competencies are subsets of Families. We are working on building an integrated tool to allow you to search with great specificity on what you just trained your student(s) in. For example for “Switching” you will be able to drill down to relay switching or under frequency load shedding, etc. and save the specific Competency with on left mouse click.
