Cabin beds are also called captain beds because historically this particular bed design was used in ships in cabins where space was too small and there was no capacity to store a sailor’s personal possessions. They have storage facility inside them in which you can store a number of things like bed sheets, clothes etc. They are made of wood primarily which and are of a complicated design which tends to make them a little pricey. These beds have sets of drawers underneath the mattress, and it is this feature which makes it so appealing. It is like the bunk bed, a space saving feature and can prove to be excellent for those small rooms in a home where you need additional space to make the house look less congested.
