The Grill Info options provide settings that are used to calculate grilling times, and add helpful reminders to your grilling timeline, such as when to start the grill. Name/Type/Covered – These settings adjust grilling time based on the options selected. Fire – It is generally recommended that items such as steaks and chops be grilled directly over the heat source (what many cookbooks and grill manufacturers refer to as a Direct-High, Direct-Medium or Direct-Low fire). These settings adjust grilling time based on the option selected. A description of these options is available by clicking the information icon next to the Fire menu. Prep – This is the time it takes to prepare your grill for grilling (start the fire and reach grilling temperature).
