Whats the advantages for new hub?
With its central atria open from the first through third floors with two new stairways wayfinding will be significantly improved. These same atria will provide daylight into the central core of the building making it more inviting and conducive to interactions between students, faculty, and staff. Lounges and lounge furnishing will be placed so as to be visible and available for use whenever the building is open. ADA accessibility to the HUB will be improved by welcoming everyone with the ability to enter through the main entrance of the building. The entrance to the North will also be upgraded and a new ADA accessible South entrance will be added. Elevators will be upgraded and all will now reach the third floor. Stairway access also will be improved. Finally building directional and informational signs will be improved making it even easier to find things in the HUB. Both ballrooms will be day lighted, having windows facing the east. There will be Prefunction space for weach ballroom
