Whats wrong with being adopted?

0

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being adopted. I was adopted at the age of 1 because my mother was killed in a car accident and my father was on too many drugs to care about his daughter. I was adopted by my grandparents, but I grew up calling them Mom and Dad. To this day, at the age of 22, I still refer to them as my parents. And my daughter is learning to refer to them as her grandparents. My love for my ‘parents’ is very strong due to the fact that they did love me enough to take me in as their own and raise me. They were ready to retire, and had to start life all over again. A mother is not the person who carried you for 9 months. A mother is the person who holds you when you cry, makes sure you are fed daily, tucks you in at night, and kisses you telling you she loves you. She’s there when you take your first steps, fall down, and get your heart broken. THAT is a mother. And it doesn’t matter if she is blood to you or adopted you when you were a complete stranger to her. S
