Where is spell check?
If you do not have ‘Rich Text’ selected, the format bar with spell check and others will not show up. In a Forward, Reply or New Mail, if Rich Text shows above the message, you are actually in Plain Text (backwards, isn’t it?), so click to change it. If you are using Beta Mail, at the moment, the spell check only underlines but does not offer corrections (Yahoo is working on this suggestion for future changes in Beta. Meanwhile, there is a browser extension for Internet Explorer called IE Spell http://www.iespell.com/ The program installs as a new button in the IE toolbar, as well as a new menu item under ‘Tools’, and in the right-click menu too.
