When teaching my horse to bow?
When I taught my TB to bow I had him in a halter and held the lead [[ make sure that you’re holding it so it is out of the way so that it can’t get tangled in something ]]. Also, I would not hold her leg to make her go down on one knee or use ropes to make them go down; I never make horses go down on one knee, with practice, some will begin to do it themselves, but I leave it up to the horse. And your horse may back a little, but that is normal at first, she’ll get it in time.
