This training can be done for schools, support groups, adoption education and more. This training is presented by our post adoption staff all over Western and Northeran Wisconsin. Adoption and Non-Traditional Families in our Schools. This training is developed for school districts and their teachers and staff. This training focuses on teaching school professionals the things they need to know when having an adopted child or a child from a non-traditional family in their class. We talk about assignments, family trees, timelines, brining in a baby picture, trauma, race, resources for the classroom, talking with families, and working with challenges that may come up in an adopted child’s life.
