Who can be in the Broomball Club?

0

The broomball club is open to all students, alumni, and faculty of the University of Michigan. Not all members will be able to participate in tournaments, depending on team size and eligibility. Everyone, however, is welcome to practice and participate in all other club activities. Q: How much does it cost? A: First, the cost to join the club is $80 per semester. This covers Club Sports fees, ice time, and a little extra to pay for team equipment. Tournaments cost about $50 each for registration, transportation, and lodging. We try to go to about one tournament per month. You also need to buy equipment. You need a helmet, stick, and shoes to play in tournaments, and gloves and kneepads are highly recommended. While equipment might seem like it costs a lot, it’s only a one-time expense and it still cheaper than hockey. We have a number of sticks to use at practice if you don’t have your own.
