How Do You Make Ricotta Pound Cake?
Pound cake is an American tradition. Here is my variation of pound cake made with Ricotta cheese. A recipe that can include chocolate, coconut, raisins, carrots and a host of other ingredients with your own experimentation. All fruits and flavors such as orange, lemon and strawberries work with Ricotta Pound Cake. Preheat oven at 375 degrees for no more than fifteen minutes. Mix all dry ingredients together. Put aside. Add in a separate Large bowl sugar and butter and cream by beating with a wooden spoon until the condiments are at consistency of whip cream. Crystals should look dissolved. Blend the butter mixture with a third of the ricotta cheese and one egg interchangeably until all of the butter, ricotta cheese and eggs are blended together. Add vanilla and one third cup of milk. Blend again. Start adding potions of the flour mixture to the butter mixture and continue to blend with a blender or by hand with approximately 200 to 300 strokes, adding milk in between so that the batter
