What are OOAK dolls?
OOAK stands for one-of-a-kind. Unlike mass produced dolls, OOAK pieces are artist dolls that are created by the artist one by one. Each in unique with no duplicates being made. MAM’s pieces are tiny scupture dolls made of polymer clay that are hand painted and adorned (mixed media). A labor intensive process, the entire doll is created from her imagination and hands. They should be thought of as tiny works of 3D art. If you are a doll retailer wishing to carry a MAM piece, please visit the art area of www.anakee.com and either call or fill out the e-mail form.
