How to Make Potato Clock?

0

Making a potato clock is a fun project to do with your kids. You will need one simple LED clock without batteries, two potatoes, two galvanized nails, two aligator clips and two pieces of copper wire. Insert the galvanize nails one into each potato. Then, insert one piece of heavy copper wire into each potato as far away from the nail as possible. Then clip one aligator clip onto one of the copper wires and clip it to the positive terminal of the battery compartment on the clock. Next, do the same to the other potato but clip it to the negative terminal. Then, take the third aligator clip and link the nail in poatoto that is on the positive terminal to the copper wire in potato two. Now set your clock and it should be running.
