Why Scottish Deerhounds?
All dog lovers have favourite breeds and one of mine is the Scottish Deerhounds. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved these dogs because of their rugged coats and celtic beauty. As a breed that had changed little over hundreds of years it is easy to imagine a pack of them hunting their natural quarry over the hills of Scotland. Their sleek lines and flawless agility make them fast and simply amazing to watch. I would like to say that I have owned one of these dogs but the nearest I have come has been to “share” my parents two Deerhound crosses but maybe one day I’ll get the chance!
