How are funnels computed?
Kontagent computes funnels by enforcing the first step in the funnel. That is, all users must go through Step 1 in order to proceed through to Step 2. This ensures that a user cohort has at least gone through the “gate” of your funnel. Funnel drop off percentages are computed as the number of people who completed a step, divided by the number of people who completed the previous step. The ultimate conversion rate is calculated as the total number of people who successfully completed the entire funnel, divided by the total number of people who went through Step 1.
