How are the veins removed?
There are many methods of removal of varicose veins described in the manuals of surgery. The method which I use is called Ambulatory Phlebectomy. In general the removal of the veins is achieved in a very non-invasive and non traumatic way. Most of the veins can be removed through a tiny hole made by the puncture of a needle. The procedure is not painful because local anaesthetic is used beforehand.
