Can my tax refund be intercepted ?
A judgement filed in city court can only intercepted via garnishment of wages. Your refund can be intercepted if you are delinquet in any state or federal payments (student loans, child support, social services, ect). To qualify for a RAL, (it is a loan from a bank), an application is summitted. Most tax companies will not charge you a fee to process the form if it is not approved, but your return would still be electronically filed.
