Depends where you get it and how pain tolerant you are. I have one on my tricep and as it got higher up towards my shoulder it hurt more. Never a pain where i had to stop though… More tender parts of your body will obviously feel it more than others. Outside of calf, outside of arm will be less painful than the inner parts of your body. Parts of the body that might hit bone (like ribs) will probably hurt more also. I feel that if you really want the tattoo and if it means enough to you then the pain aspect wouldn’t be much of an issue at the end. I think the pain will be worth it.
