To upgrade GoldWave, download the latest self-installing file and run it. Install it into your existing GoldWave folder to replace all the older files. If upgrading from v4 or a beta version to v5, it is recommended that you uninstall the older version first. Otherwise it is best to install over the existing version so that all your settings and presets are retained. Later you can safely uninstall any older versions listed under Add or Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel.
