How can I learn to draw manga/anime?
Hi there, I answered another question recently on how to draw manga. Here’s my answer: One of the things many people don’t know about anime and manga is that it’s essentially a stylization of the human anatomy. =) Which means one of the greatest places to start learning how to draw manga, is to learn how to draw the human anatomy, or draw in general. Another great way to learn is to copy the styles of the artists you like before trying to create your own or draw your manga. When I say ‘copy’ I meant observing the manga then drawing on a piece of paper. Try never to put the paper On Top of said manga to copy the work. Most of the times you really don’t learn anything. ^_^” So the great thing about the internet would be all the good free tutorials available. I myself have a ‘How to Draw’ site that has an anime and manga section. However since I’m busy with the other sections I only have tutorials on anime eyes now. (or I’d have loved to help you out personally)
