Why Easter Monday?
There are a few of reasons for this decision: • Because of the nature of the course, we would ideally have a high tide at around 12:00 noon on race day, this is to ensure that the heads at Clovelly are at their most navigable and that Tamarama is at its most accessible. This limits our options for which days the event can be run, next year it will most likely be on another day in April.. • We didn’t want to clash with another swim.
