Prepare the Soil for RemovalPlace the potting soil in disposable turkey-sized roasting pan. Soil should be loosely packed and no more than 2 inches deep.Bake the SoilPreheat the oven to 200 degrees F. Place the soil filled pan into the oven. Cook the soil for a half hour to kill the fungi.Cool the SoilPut on oven mitts and remove the pan from the oven. Place the pan on the counter and let the soil cool completely before using.
