Do inspectors rate homes?
Absolutely not! Every home stands on its own merits. Professional home inspectors do not “rate” homes they inspect and a home cannot not “pass” or “fail” an inspection. Professional home inspectors know that most homes have been lived in. Normal wear and tear and even some deferred maintenance are to be expected. Professional inspectors don’t “rate” or “grade” homes on an arbitrary scale or against some ideal standard of condition or maintenance.
