If icons are stored in exe or dll files, you must extract these icons (save them to disk). After that you should check PNG format, uncheck ICO format and process extraction on directory with these icons. Now you can convert PNG images (layers of the icons) into standard icons (in popup menu of MultiExtractor explorer set “View as” option to “ICO”).
