What was the Rosa Parks Accomplishments ?
Most of Rosa’s accomplishments had to with her helping African American. Some of Rosa’s accomplishments had to with medals and awards like Spingarn Medal (1979) The Martin Luther King, Jr., Nonviolent Peace Prize (1980), The Eleanor Roosevelt Women of Courage Awards (1984) The Presidential Medals of Freedom (1999). Rosa also had accomplishment that didn’t have to do with awards or medals like: Getting married to Raymond Parks. Elected secretary for the Montgomery Branch of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored people). Getting arrested for sitting in the middle of the bus and not getting up for a white man. Also starting the bus boycott. Later on she founded Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self-Development to give young people hope and help them completes their education.
